With great pride and honor, we highlight today one of the region’s distinguished educational institutions —
the Imam Al-Shafi’i Institute for Training Imams and Preachers, located in the city of Tanga, in the United Republic of Tanzania.

Since its establishment, the institute has served as a lighthouse of knowledge, dedicated to graduating a generation of qualified imams and preachers capable of leading the Muslim community and spreading authentic Islamic understanding.

* Core Mission: To prepare and qualify influential preachers and imams.

* Established: 1997 — over 25 years of educational excellence.
* Educational Levels: Intermediate and secondary stages.
* Current Enrollment: 250 male students trained under a comprehensive Sharia curriculum.
* Curriculum: Designed to combine authenticity and modern relevance in Islamic sciences.
* Faculty: 14 specialized teachers in various Sharia disciplines.
